The JVP states that according to the report issued by the customs regarding the 2 containers of Ethanol that were brought to the country illegally, there are 2 politicians behind the incident.

JVP MP Vijitha Herath addressing a media briefing held today stated that Minister Johnston Fernando and MP Arudika Fernando are involved in this incident.

Our news team inquired from MP Arundika Fernando about the allegation.He said he has no connection what so ever.

When inquired from Minister Johnston Fernando, he challenged MP Vijitha Herath to prove the allegations if possible.

Much talk is taking place on the letter that had been sent by the coordinating secretary of the Prime Minister requesting the release of a container carrying drugs.

JVP Parliamentarian Vijitha Herath speaking at a media briefing that was held today stated that the Prime Minister cannot wash his hands off the matter by putting the blame on his Coordinating Secretary.

However, Prime Minister D M Jayarathna speaking at an event that was held in Udunuwara expressed these views.
