A protest in front of Rathnapura Sumana Saman devalaya.

Sunday, 15 December 2013 - 19:16

Area residents and devotees staged a protest in front of the Rathnapura Sumana Saman devalaya today.

That is as a result of the vehicle taking the religious casket and the statue that left Palmadulla- Galpoththawala rajama temple not arriving at the Sumana Sama devalaya as expected.

Although we tried to contact the chief prelate of Sri pada, Venerable Dhamma- Dinna thero our attempts were futile as the thero is participating in the procession as at present.
