JHU still has doubts about relief given to James Packer's hotel

The JHU says that although permit was granted for two large-scale hotels along D. R. Wijewardhana Road in Colombo with no permission for casino or betting it too has doubts about it.

UNP MP Harsha de Silva said in parliament day-before-yesterday that the Government had provided opportunity for this project by misguiding the people. 

However participating in the media briefing JHU had convened in Colombo yesterday, its general secretary Minister Paatali Champika  Ranawaka said that granting permission for constructing this project without casino and gambling was a victory the people’s views had achieved.
