The government says that they are prepared to face any challenge at the Geneva Human rights session next March.

A senior spokesperson of the government stated that a special programme was in place for the purpose especially to bring to the attention of the world the progress achieved in the path to reconciliation.

Meanwhile, Former Permanent Representative to Geneva Dr. Dayan Jayathilaka stated that in case a proposal is approved against Sri Lanka next year, it would be one  that would be more grave in nature than those approved in 2012 and 2013.
