The Private Transport Services Ministry has decided to temporarily suspend the joint timetable due to be implemented tomorrow.

Speaking to our news team, the Ministry Secretary Padmasiri Jayamanna said that it was temporarily suspended due to the protests of the SLTB trade unions

Recently a cabinet sub-committee was appointed to implement the joint timetable, and their recommendations received the approval of the cabinet.

In its previous statement, the Private Transport Services ministry declared that joint timetable will be implemented from tomorrow onwards.
