The TNA states that they wish to meet Indian authorities prior to attending the Geneva Human Rights Commission summit.

Previously TNA representatives have requested Indian authorities for an opportunity to discuss issues faced by local Tamil community.

However, the Indian government has not assigned a specific date regarding the matter thus far. MP Selvam Adekkalanadan said that they intend to discuss this matter during the TNA parliamentary group meeting.

Meanwhile, the matter is to be discussed in detail during the central working committee meeting of TNA’s coalition party - Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi.
