Nepal Chief of Army Staff Gaurav Rana will set out for his official visit to the Maldives and Sri Lanka today.  

This will be Nepal’s first high level military visit to the two SAARC countries.  

On February 1, Rana will begin his official visit of Sri Lanka, where he will remain for six days.

He will be attending the Independence Parade of Sri Lanka as the honourary guest on February 4th.
