President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that certain countries are attempting to use the UN Human Rights Commission as a cat’s paw to overpower Sri Lanka.

The President expressed these views at a ceremony held at St.Mary’s College in Matugama today.

He also stressed that he is never ready to betray the freedom of the country.

Meanwhile the new Divisional Secretariat building of Matugama was also inaugurated by the President.
