Meanwhile the government sources stated that the US Assistant Secretary of State had attempted to justify the Anti Sri Lankan resolution during the meeting with Hugo Swair.
At the same time, the government sources stressed that Sri Lanka, as one of the oldest democracies in Asia, does not want anybody to interfere its internal affairs.
Meanwhile addressing a gathering in Ambalantota yesterday, External Affairs Minister Professor G.L. Peries said that certain international elements against Sri Lankan are operating under the cover of Human Rights and trying to achieve their separatist goals which they failed to gain through the war.
