TNA special party meeting regarding Geneva summit.
TNA Northern Provincial councilor M.K. Sivajilingam said that a special meeting of TNA party leaders will be held next week.
He further said that they hope to discuss regarding the US proposal against Sri Lanka expected to be submitted at the Geneva Human Rights Council, and whether TNA would wish to support or oppose this proposal.
However, at the recent northern provincial council meeting, TNA approved a proposal that said an international inquiry should be held against Sri Lanka.
Therefore, TNA has decided to send a team of representatives to the Geneva Human Rights Council.
When our news team inquired, Provincial councilor M.K. Sivajilingam said that a decision regarding this matter will be taken at next week’s meeting.
