Video: Paid LTTE members act in Channel 4 documentaries; says Lord Naseby
UK Conservative party member Lord Nazabi says that those who appeared in the Channel-4 documentary film which depicts alleged war crimes in Sri Lanka are paid LTTE members.
Lord Nazabi stated this yesterday during a debate on Sri Lanka held in British parliament.
A documentary film based on the life of a former LTTE female cadre who suffered the war for nearly 30 years in Sri Lanka was screened before a group of eminent personnel in British parliament complex on the 24th of this month.
The Army Media Unit stated that this documentary titled “The Last Phase’ has been produced by a group of independent media personnel.
Representing film crew, a British national Richard Mandy who arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday said that ‘The Last Phase’ would open the eyes to the truth of what had really happened during the war in Sri Lanka.
Expressing his views Richard Mandy further said that the contents of Channel-4 documentaries mislead the viewers.
Speaking to our news team, Army spokesperson Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasuriya stated that the documentary ‘Last Phase’ screened at the British Parliament on the 24th.
