Countries unable to tolerate Sri lanka’s speedy development try to destabilize it - a statement from President.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that some countries unable to put up with Sri Lanka’s speedy development, are engaged in an attempt to destabilize the country.
The President said that the Government having ended the three-decade terrorism was consolidating the democratic rights of all people and soothing broken hearts.
However on this occasion President Mahinda Rajapaksa also pointed out that certain politicians of this country were taking action to make the Government not think about the country’s development but keep submitting replies to foreign countries.
The President also attested that there was no human right higher than right that had been provided for people to live freely.
The President said so while participating at the inauguration of the Moratuwa Urban Council three-storey building complex and the library building last afternoon.
On this occasion the President pointed out that the laws of a country should be formulated not to inconvenience the people but to ease their daily activities.
