President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that the people of this country are rallied to defeat threats posed by International forces.
He expressed these views at a ceremony to open a Greater Colombo Water Rehabilitation Project at Gotatuwa in Kolonnawa.
The new Greater Colombo Water Rehabilitation Project was set up to supply drinking water to new consumers and further enhance the supply to existing consumers in Kotikawatta and Mulleriyawa areas.
The new water tank with a capacity of 1500 cubic metres was set up in Gotatuwa town at a cost of nearly 4.8 billion rupees funded by the Japanese Government.
Expressing his views during the ceremony, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage Dinesh Gunawardana said that parliamentarian R. Dumindha Silva lavishly contributed to make this project a success from its inception.
After opening the Greater Colombo Water Rehabilitation Project at Gotatuwa in Kolonnawa, President Rajapaksa addressed the gathering and stated that the people of this country are rallied to defeat threats posed by International forces.
