Update : Video : Court orders to bail out Chairman and former chairman of Wilgamuwa PS
The courts ordered today to bail out Matale Wilgamuwa PS Chairman Jayantha Weerasekara and former Chairman Ranjith Dissanayake who have been previously remanded.
After being produced before Naula Magistrate Manjula Thilakeratne, they were ordered to be bailed out on 10,000 rupees cash bail and 50,000 rupees personal bail.
The two were arrested on Saturday night while transporting marijuana in a cab.

Chairman of the Matale – Wilgamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha Jayantha Weerasekara and Former Chairman Ranjith Dissanayake who were arrested for transporting Marijuana in a vehicle are further remanded until tomorrow.
Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana stated that they were arrested last night.
However, after considering the reports when the suspects were produced before the Nawula Magistrate, the magistrate stated that the police had given a B report that consists of false facts.
The magistrate ordered the police to prepare the B report properly and hand over the report to courts tomorrow.
However, addressing a media briefing held in Colombo today police media spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana stated that the court had ordered the police to notify whether it is a racket or having marijuana in their possession.
Meanwhile, UNP MP Ajith P Perera addressing a media briefing held in Colombo today expressed his views about the arrest of Wilgamuwa Pradeshiya Saba Chairman and how police media spokesperson acted on the matter.
Police media spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana during today’s media briefing replied to the allegations.
He stated that he only deliver accurate and true information.
