Video : Update : 3 Ministers prepare for discussions with former President
Former President Chandrika Kumaratunga said that several government ministers have given her appointments for discussions.
The proposed discussion between President Kumaratunga and the ministers will focus on the observation project that expects to create inter-religious harmony.
The South Asian Policy and Research Institute to which President Kumaratunga gives leadership has prepared the observation project in order to create harmony among different religious groups in Sri Lanka.
Later Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe told the media that certain elements are on force to cripple the activities of the Chief Prelates of this country.
He also said that the opinions on the values of the country have completely collapsed.

A discussion between Chandrika and Ranil; Ready to meet President as well.
A discussion between former President Chandrika Kumaratunga and Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe was held this morning at the Opposition Leader’s Office.
President Kumaratunga handed over a copy of an observation project prepared by South Asian Policy and Research Institute headed by her before the discussions.
This project is aimed to cultivate religious harmony among major religions in Sri Lanka.
After the discussion with the Opposition Leader, Former President Kumaratunga said that she expects to discuss the matter with the factions of the government.
