Complaint regarding Minister Hakeem to President
The JHU says that the President should take action regarding the behavior of SLMC Leader Minister Rauf Hakeem.
JHU National Organizer Nishantha Warnasinghe announced this during a media briefing held in Colombo today.
Much is talked about regarding the report that was handed over to UN Human Rights Commissioner Navi Pillay by SLMC Leader Rauf Hakeem.
Addressing a public gathering in Wattala SLMC Leader Hakeem said that his party will be the deciding factor of the forthcoming Presidential election.
JHU National Organizer Nishantha Warnasinghe stated that Minister Hakeem supports separatism while holding a ministerial portfolio.
Meanwhile during a media conference organized by Bodu Bala Sena, its General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera said that the force of Sinhala Buddhists will be the deciding factor of any forthcoming election.
However during another media briefing organized by the Mahajana Eksath Peramuna, its Leader Minister Dinesh Gunawardana said that there is no conflict between the government and SLMC.
