Minister Rishard Baduidin apologized to the Court today for threatening and insulting Judges of the Mannar district and magistrate courts.

The Court had earlier released the minister on two personal bails amounting to 500 thousand rupees each and another 10 thousand rupees cash bail.

A group of Muslims were arrested in connection with burning fishing gear belonged to another group of Tamil fishermen at Madel Wadiya area in Mannar on the 13th of July in 2012.

Following day, more than 100 Muslims mobbed in the Mannar Court premises and Minister Baduidin was charged for threatening Mannar Judge over the phone.
