Representatives of TNA staged a fasting today demanding for an international inquiry for human rights violations in the country.

According to our news correspondent, Religious leaders, TNA Provincial councillors from Northern and Eastern provinces joined the fast held at the public grounds in Mannar.

However, JHU states that the government should take legal measures against the TNA.

While attending the launching ceremony of a book titled conquering Geneva challenges in Colombo today, JHU media spokesman Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe expressed his views regarding the matter.
