It was reported today, that the Chinese aircrew have spotted "suspicious objects" in the southern Indian Ocean in the search for the vanished Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

It gave no immediate further details, but an earlier report said a Chinese military plane, set off early today from the western Australian city of Perth, to seek "suspicious debris" floating in the remote waters captured by satellite imagery.

Meanwhile, More nations have joined the search in the southern Indian Ocean for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, amid concern that rain will hamper search efforts.

10 planes were set to search the area for possible debris picked up earlier by radar echoes and satellite imagery.

Australia's acting leader has cautioned that the search is a "challenge" and officials are "clutching" at clues.

Flight MH370 disappeared on 8th March while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, with 239 people on board.
