Sri Lankan scientist in search of MH370 speaks to Hiru News
Professor of the University of Western Australia’s Oceans Institute Charitha Pattiarachchi states that he can pinpoint the location of the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 if it did crash into the sea.
Professor Pattiarachchi had previously marked the area where the plane would have crashed based on debris that was found off the Southwestern Coast of Australia.
However, Malaysia had stated this morning that its search operations are being carried out approximately 1100 kilometers North East of where the debris was found.
The Australian search party stated that the new search area was determined based on analysis of Radar reports obtained before the communication from the aircraft was lost between the South China Sea and the Malacca Strait.
