Objects spotted in search for MH370 to be verified
Five planes have spotted "objects" in the new area of the Indian Ocean being searched for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
The sightings would need confirmation by ship, possibly today.
The Beijing-bound airliner disappeared on 8 March with 239 people on board.
Meanwhile, the son of the pilot of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight has spoken out in his defense, saying there was no way his father diverted the plane and crashed it into the Indian Ocean, killing himself and the 238 others aboard.
