Democratic Party Leader Sarath Fonseka says that it is victory after victory as he regained his civic rights just before the poll’s day.

He stated this during a media briefing held in Colombo today to expressed his party views about the election victory in the Western and Southern Provincial Council elections.

Meanwhile UNP President and MP Kabeer Hashim told a media briefing yesterday that the government should officially announce if the Election Commissioner grant Sarath Fonseka his voting rights.

At the same time, addressing a UPFA media briefing held in Colombo Minister Dallas Alahapperuma said that his party is pleased about Democratic Party Leader Sarath Fonseka being able to cast his vote after a spell of several years.
