Japanese war ships on anti-piracy mission dock in Sri Lanka port

The Sri Lanka Navy, in accordance with naval traditions, welcomed two Japanese war ships on their arrival at the Colombo port yesterday.

Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force destroyers, Inazuma - 105 and Umigiri - 158 arrived at the Port of Colombo on a goodwill and logistic visit.

The ships are en route for counter piracy operations off the Coast of Somalia and in the Gulf of Aden.
