Percentage of candidates who got through O/levels increased.

The Examination Department stated that there is an increase of 2% in the number of applicants who passed the GCE O/Level last year against its previous year.

Examination Commissioner General W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said that compared to the examination results of the year 2011, there is a decline of candidates who failed in Mathematics in the examination last year.

Meanwhile the Examination Department stated that applications for scrutinizing GCE O/Level results should be submitted before the 25th of this month.

School candidates should send applications through their principals while private candidate should follow the specimen application to be published in national newspapers on the 7th of this month.
