No reason for alarm, but be vigilant: Army
The Army says that security forces are constantly vigilant regarding national security.
Army Spokesperson Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasooriya stated that the public should also be vigilant but stated that there was no reason for alarm.
He expressed these views at a media briefing that was held yesterday regarding LTTE leaders such as Gopi, Appan and Theviya who were killed during confrontation with the Army.
The Army Spokesperson also stated that after demining is completed 500 thousand acres of land can be divided among people.
