The support of the Interpol will be sought in arresting LTTE activists abroad who are trying to revive the LTTE.

It was also revealed that the group that was killed in a confrontation with the Army recently in jungle areas of Kilinochchi was functioning under the instructions of LTTE leaders Nediyawan and Vinayagam who are based in Europe.

An Interpol red notice has already been issued to arrest Vinaayagam and Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana stated that an arrest warrant would be obtained from courts for the arrest of Nediyavan as well.
