A group of individuals had thrown a hand grenade at a house in the Hambantota – Bimthenna region this morning.

The police media unit stated that no injuries were reported due to the attack, but a three wheeler parked opposite the house and several windows of the house were damaged.

Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana said the attack could have followed a personal dispute.
