Ready for discussions with TNA - says Government
The government said today that it is ready to discuss the national problem with the TNA at any time.
However leader of the house Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva said that the TNA should participate in the Parliament Select Committee that has already been appointed to find a solution to the National Problem.
Minister Siripala de Silva expressed these views to our news team while commenting on a recent statement by the TNA that it is ready to give its fullest support to a move that brings solutions to all problems.
Following a tour of South Africa, the TNA parliament delegation returned to the country yesterday.
Speaking to our news team, TNA Leader MP R. Sampandan said that his party is ready to talk with the government over a move which would take initiative to bring solutions to all problems.
MP Sampandan also described the discussions that he and his delegation had with South African leaders.
Meanwhile Minister Siripala de Silva stressed that the TNA has an opportunity to discuss any problem within the parliament select committee.
