Sri lanka has achieved rapid progress; Kean Envoy : Video
Special representative of the South Korean government Yu Myung Hwan states that Sri Lanka has achieved significant progress on all fronts following the cessation of hostilities.
He made this statement when he met with President Mahinda Rajapakse at Temple Trees yesterday.
Elaborating further the special representative of the South Korean government had stated that the Sri Lankan government has achieved merit for holding free and fair elections in the North and for establishing a presidential commission with regard to missing persons.
President Rajapakse also invited Yu Myung Hwan to tour the North.
Meanwhile, the special representative of the South Korean government had engaged in discussions yesterday with Minister of External Affairs Prof. G. L. Peiris as well.
During discussions with the Sri Lankan Minister of External Affairs, the Special representative of the South Korean government Yu Myung Hwan had pledged further support of the South Korean government to Sri Lanka’s economic development through trade, investment and tourism.
