Kelaniya University Archaeology Division Professor Prishaanta Gunawardhana says that there are more than 300 thousand unprotected archaeological sites island-wide.

The Professor said that these archaeological sites were in a state of risk.

Professor Prishaantha Gunawardhana told our news team that more than another 150 thousand archaeological sites have been conserved as far as possible.
