The Coastal Security Group personnel conducted a programme in the Keezhputhupattu Sri Lankan Tamil refugee camp in Tamil Nadu to sensitise the residents to security perception.

Inspector R. Sekar told The Hindu that the camp inmates were advised not to organise any function to commemorate the death anniversary of Terror chief Prabakaran that falls on May 18 and 19.

The camp residents told him that they would not conduct such events as it might affect the harmonious relations among themselves.

Sekar told them that they should immediately alert the police and the CSG personnel if they came across unknown persons in their area.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the Transitional Government of Tamil Eelam has decided to hold an Anti Sri Lankan protest on the 17th for not taking action by the British Government on the list of terrorist entities and individuals named by Sri Lankan government.
