The No Confidence Motion submitted to parliament against the government by the United National Party is to be taken up for debate on the 20th and 21st of this month.

Chief Opposition Whip John Amarathunga stated that the motion was brought forward against the government’s inability to prevent the inflow of drugs to the country.

However, Leader of the House Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva stated that the government is prepared to face the No Confidence Motion confidently.
