JHU and NFF Stand on UNP no confidence motion against the government will be announced tomorrow.
The no confidence motion brought against the government by UNP is scheduled to be debated in parliament tomorrow and day after tomorrow.
Two government coalitions JHU and NFF stated that their stand on the no confidence motion will be announced tomorrow.
The no confidence motion was submitted to parliament over the government’s failure to stop large scale smuggling of heroin and other dangerous drugs into the country.
Twenty six MPs put their signatures to this no confidence motion and government collation JHU severely criticized various parties allegedly linked to these drug rackets.
However JHU Media Spokesman Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe said that a decision with regard to the no confidence motion will be taken when the party central committee meets this afternoon.
In addition, another government coalition NFF also expects to hold a discussion with regard to the no confidence motion.
NFF Media Spokesman and Central working Committee member Mohammad Musammil had this to say.
Meanwhile addressing a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday, UNP Media Spokesman MP Gayantha Karunatilaka invited JHU and NFF to support the no confidence motion against the government and prove their patriotism.
The JVP is also expected to announce the party stand on the proposed no confidence motion.
