Several suspects with links to an international narcotic ring including Sri Lanka arrested in India
Information about a narcotic ring being operated in several countries including Sri Lanka has been revealed.
The Hindu quoted Delhi Police as saying that the information was revealed during the questioning of four Indian suspects arrested in the Indo- Pakistan border.
Police found narcotic worth over one billion Indian rupees in the possession of the four suspects.
Investigations have revealed that the drug racket has been operated among India, Pakistan, Kuwait, Dubai and Afghanistan and its ring leader is living in Kuwait.
The Hindu also reported that 14 suspects were arrested in connection with the same drug racket in the past.
The suspects have also revealed the drug stocks were smuggled to New Delhi and then they were sent to Sri Lanka via Mumbai, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
