Parts found at Beruwala confirmed to be those of a plane.-Video
The parts, a group of fishermen found in the sea in the vicinity of the Beruwala Lighthouse have been confirmed as those of a plane.
Three fishermen of Moragalla in Aluthgama found a tyre suspected to be that of a plane.
Subsequently the navy dispatched a specialist officer to the location concerned to investigate about it.
In the investigation it was revealed that the parts thus found consist of a part of a pulley, in other words, a pulley and a connector of electronic waves.
Navy Media spokesman Wing Gommander Gihaan Seneviratne told our news team that the relevant part had on it the mark ‘A – N’ displayed on it.
The Navy spokesman also said that it was not yet possible to say to which type of plane these parts belong.

Air craft debris found in Aluthgama sea; Expert to conduct investigations.
A group of fishermen found a debris resembling a part of an air craft wheel, off the coast of Beruwala Light House.
Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Gihan Seneviratne told our news team that the debris was found by 3 fishermen from Moragalle, Aluthgama area.
He further stated that an expert on the subject has been deployed to the area to conduct an investigation.
The 3 fishermen set off to the sea this morning to fetch back the fishing nets which were spread last evening.
They found the debris entangled in one of the fishing nets, and have brought it back to the shore.
The Police media spokesman’s office stated that the wheel has been handed over to Aluthgama Police after informing the Moragalle Tourist Police.
A fisherman who found the debris told our news team that there have been debris of aircrafts found in the same area.
