Minister Bandula is ready to apologise to opposition MP's.-Video
Education Minister Bandula Gunawardana told in parliament today he is ready to apologize to opposition members if they can prove that he informed the Examination Commissioner General to change the Advanced Level question papers.
39 university teachers who have been tasked to mark A Level answer papers recently sent a letter to the Examination Commissioner General.
In their letter, the university teachers warned the Examination Commissioner General that they would remove themselves from paper marking of the A Level examination to be held next August.
The university teachers’ letter also stated that the Minister sent a fax message to the committee which is amending the new economics syllabus and asked them to consider the change of a proposed answer of the 2012 A level question paper.
This issue was highlighted in our 6.30pm main news bulletin on May 30th and the minister responded to it while quoting a ministry statement today.
