The National Building Research Institute stated that the disaster warning issued earlier for Kalutara, Galle, Rathnapura, Kegalle and Nuwara Eliya districts has been extended further.

Agalawatta, Palinda Nuwara, Mathugama, Bulathsinhala, Kalutara, Walallawita, Horana and Ingiriya Divisional Secretariat Divisions of the Kalutara district;

Neluwa and Thawalama of Galle district, Kalawana, Elapatha, Eheliyagoda, Nivitigala, Rathnapura and Balangoda Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Rathnapura district,

Yatiyantoda, Deraniyagala, Aranayake, Mawenella and Kegalle Divisional Secretariat Divisions of the Kegalle district are included in this earth slip vulnerable areas.

Ambagamuwa and Nuwara Eliya Divisional Secretariat Divisions of the Nuwara Eliya district are also among the extended disaster situation areas.
