Allowance given to NCP kidney patients increased by 1000 rupees.

It has been decided to increase the allowance given to Kidney patients in the North Central province from 500 rupees to 1500 rupees.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa said finding a solution to fast spreading kidney disease should be considered a national requirement and so everyone should render their cooperation towards it.

The President expressed his views during the Presidential Task Force meeting on Kidney disease held at Temple Trees.

Special projects Ministry secretary Wijerathna Sakalasuriya stated that the decision was taken during the meeting.
