A group of female workers plucking tea leaves at Chapelton Estate in Bogawantalawa were subjected to a hornet attack this morning.

According to a Bogawantalawa Hospital spokesman, 6 female workers have been admitted to Bogawantalawa Hospital while 3 among them have been discharged following treatment.

The 3 victims currently receiving treatment are pregnant mothers.
