The Collective of National Organizations stated that it will let no Indian politician including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha Jeyaram to set up any Eelam within the territories of Sri Lanka.

The Collective of National Organizations staged a demonstration in front of the Indian High Commission in Colombo against Jayalalitha’s proposal to hold a referendum in the Northern Province.

Protesters gave vent to anger by burning a portrait of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha Jeyaram during the demonstration.
