SLFP senior spokesmen said a discussion with the NFF likely to be held today, but, the NFF said that it has not yet received any invitation for such a discussion.
Meanwhile it has been decided to verify the opinion of parliament over the UN Human Rights Commissioner Navaneedan Pillai’s decision to appoint a committee of inquiry over the alleged human right violations in the island.
Accordingly, steps will be taken to test the parliament’s opinion on the allegations leveled against the country by the UN office and the proposed committee of inquiry.
