President Mahinda Rajapaksa emphasized that the Government that goes forward strongly facing problems cannot be weakened by charges and insults.
The President said that the current Government had completely avoided allegations and insults.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa also said that he intended to consult parliament about allowing the persons appointed for probing war crimes to do so.
The President expressed these views while handing over the Mahindodaya Science Laboratory constructed at the Maedirigiriya National School for students’ yesterday.
Parliament stands for the people.
Therefore MPs will be consulted on this.
On this occasion President Mahinda Rajapaksa attested that it was not possible to allow those subjected to dollars to betray the country.
