Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said that parliament privileges will not deter to arrest parliamentarians if he or she discloses information about the national security or the Armed Forces.

Addressing a media briefing held at the Police Headquarters this afternoon, the Media spokesman said that such an MP could be arrested under the State Secret Act.

Army Media Spokesman Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasuriya also told a media conference yesterday that a certain group was preparing to cover up in parliamentary privileges and destabilize national intelligence.
