Meanwhile the management of the Sabaragamuwa University has decided to close the university indefinitely from today due to the prevailing weather condition.

The vice chancellor of the Sabaragumwa University Professor Chandana Udawatta said that this decision was taken as strong winds have caused damaged to the hostel of the university and resulted in a power failure.
