Deputy Election Commissioner R.M.A.L. Rathnayake told our news team the number of member seats allocated to each district will also be announced along with this gazette.
He said the Badulla district is to get 18 seats while the Moneragala district to get 14 districts accordingly.
During the last Uva Provincial Council election in 2009, the Badulla District got 21 seats while the Moneragala district got 11 seats.
Having taken into consideration the population density and the land area of each district, three seats have been moved from Badulla to Moneragala under the vote registration list of 2013.
Meanwhile UNP is getting ready to sue the election Commissioner for moving member seats from one district to the other.
UNP MP Hareen Fernando said his party will file the case after the respective gazette notification is released tomorrow.
