Indian Air Force Chief discusses with President on defence co-operation
Indian Air Force Chief Marshal Arup Raha yesterday called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees.
Bilateral defence cooperation, including the continuation of training and joint exercises had been discussed.
Raha, who is on his first overseas tour since assuming office, also held a series of meetings with several other Senior Security Officials in Sri Lanka during his stay.
Meanwhile, President Mahinda Rajapaksa also had a meeting with several leading local industrialists and exporters at Temple Trees yesterday.
The Presidential Media Unit stated that the discussion was held to obtain ideas and proposals with regard to the preparation of the 2015 budget.
The President stated that the local industrialists should try and win the world and the government would support them in every possible way.
