A single group of illegal migrants entering Texas from Mexico over the weekend including foreign nationals from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka have been arrested according to the National Border Patrol Council.

The group crossed into the Rio Grande Valley sector from Tamaulipas, Mexico.

National Border Patrol Council spokesperson Albert Spratte said everyone in this group are adult males.

Spratte said it is unusual and infrequent for illegal migrants from these nations to appear in the Rio Grande Valley sector.

That report was based on information from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
