15000 Kilogrammes of expired wheat flour seized from Dikoya

Public Health Inspectors have seized 15,000 kilogrammes of expired wheat flour from the Dikoya area in Hatton, this afternoon.

The stock of wheat flour has been stored in a storage facility in the Injusty Estate in Dikoya, Hatton to be distributed among the estate workers.

Another stock of flour has been seized from the same location which did not display the date of packaging, expiry date or the name of the manufacturer.

The Public Health Inspector of Bagawanthalawa in Hatton said that legal action will be taken against the management of the estate.
