The Vice President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa says that his visit to Sri Lanka resulted in successful outcomes.
Addressing the South African parliament yesterday, he has said that the discussions which were conducted with the President, opposition leader and TNA leaders were successful.
The South African vice president has noted that he paid the visit to Sri Lanka as a response to the invitation extended by the Sri Lankan government to visit the country and receive a firsthand experience of its situation.
He has further noted that line of discussions used by South Africa to maintain peace will be helpful to solve the problems in Sri Lanka and Sudan.
Meanwhile views were expressed about the visit of South African Vice President Cyril Ramaphosa at a media briefing convened by the Jathika Hela Urumaya today.
