Update : Navagattegama teacher receives death threats-Video
The teacher of Navagattegama Vidyalaya who was knelt down by former Provincial Councilor Ananda Sarath Kumara has been threatened with death.
Navagattegama Vidyalaya teacher Susila Herath’s husband said he received the letter with death threats today which was written in a manner similar to that of writing by former Provincial Councilor.
The body of the 4th witness of the case was found from an abandoned well last Friday.
The Lanka Teacher Association stated that a conspiracy is behind these incidents.
However Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said extensive investigations have been initiated over the death of 4th witness of the case Mudiyanselage Punnyasoma Bandara.
The teacher was knelt down and harassed in the Isuru Maha Vidyalaya premises on the 14th of July in 2013.
The Puttalam High Court sentenced former North Western Provincial Councilor Ananda Sarath Kumara for two years rigorous imprisonment suspended for seven year for the allegations on the 12th of May this year.

Teacher of Nawagattegama Navodya School who was forced to kneel down has received a letter with death threat today. The letter stated that the teacher will be killed in a different manner to that of the 4th witness of the relevant court case was killed.
